Having hosted his own night of crazy mashups, dance tracks, and live electronic and noise music, Beat Pervert is no stranger to the Beat Research mission. Beat Perv and his Drunk and Focused possie host the Tuesday Scissor Test every week at the Red Door in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He'll be crossing the border to bring a taste of his parallel New Hampshire universe!

In addition to his slammin regular nights at the Milky Way and Zuzu, our good friend Ghostdad hosts the incredible Mofo Radio show which airs Wednesday nights on WZBC. This cat is well known for always playing the finest in far out beat driven sound.

... as a bonus treat, some very special surprise guests might be coming through too - so lookout.

DJ Yamin

DJ Yamin aka Ben Epstein has been Djing and Producing for over 12 years. His love for Hip-Hop spawned his quest to find the source of all the samples that were being used in the songs he loved. Digging through the dusty record bins he discovered such artists such as Bill Withers, P-Funk and The Meters. He put his knowledge to use and started a radio show called "The Grooveyard" on WMFO which lasted for over 7 years.

His first release as a producer was in 1994 with a breakbeat beat record called "5 Finger Breaks" produced alongside Moosaka.

He has Dj'd with several Hip-Hop groups such as P.O.E. and III Kings and has opened up for such acts as Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley, Crown City Rockers and The Violent Femmes.

Eats Tapes

Hailing from San Francisco and fresh off their latest European tour, Beat Research is incredibly proud to host the amazing Duo Eats Tapes.

"Using a battery of hardware sequencers, synths, modified drum machines, cassette players and a midi Nintendo, Marijke Jorritsma and Gregory Zifcak specialize in noisey, spazzy techno bangers with irresistable hooks. Fusing a variety of influences, they comfortably straddle the Bay Area's myriad club, psychedelic noise, and art rock scenes."

For this show they will be bringing along a video artist for some extra live visual madness to boot!

In other words crazy fun that you don't want to miss!!!

Hailing from the North Shore, for over a decade Teep has brought his eclectic selection and mixing style to just about every local venue possible, from Boston area landmarks like the Cyclorama and Villa Victoria to infiltrating clubs on Landsdown, Mass Ave, and downtown alike.

An early adopter of web broadcasting and streaming media, Teep
contributed to the Cybernetic Broadcasting System San Fran's Beta Lounge and the German Based Welt-Am-Draht he is also proud of his many year service as Beyond the QE2's "Prime Minister"

Tonight's set will serve as a "wrap party" of sorts as he finishes a run of summer subbing on the the weekly "House Therapy" program on
WBMR 88.1FM Thurs 10-mindnight. Check his website the aquaban for archived shows and more.
